About Le Boussac

Sylvia and Brian Butler are delighted to welcome you to share Le Boussac with them and are certain you will enjoy your stay with us. We have made a home from home retreat in the heart of Brittany.

We were looking for a french version of "The Good Life" and found it when we moved here 9 years ago from Birmingham.

Tucked away in pretty, rural surroudings, Le Boussac is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life to create a totally relaxing and at ease holiday.

Our 200 year old Breton Longere (a house with a barn at either end) has been transformed into a 5 bedroom house that offers bed and breakfast and we have 3 gites that can cater for up to 18 people. Our Gites have all been fully modernised but still reflect traditional french country style.

The accomodation is suitable for couples, friends and families and large groups. we can offer self-catering, bed and breakfast and 1/2 or full board accomodation (see accomodation for a full description).

With 10 excellent golf courses (approx 1 hour away) very few hilly areas (a cyclist/walkers paradise), horse riding, fishing and watersports, it all adds up to a great selection of activities.

For those who just want to chill out Le Boussac is ideal as the most exciting thing that happens around us is a passing tractor and no light pollution so you can see the Milky way on a clear night.

With 2 airports (Rennes/Dinard) and several ferry ports close enough, travelling to us is easy.
