Our Garden
Our Garden was a tip when we arrived! Quite literally... A local family had been using it to dump garden and other household rubbish. Well, the property had been empty for nearly five years!
We had to start from scratch so an open canvas really.
It sort of evolved and as our budget was tight we used what was at hand; big stones, old railway sleepers and elbow grease
As old allotment holders, we knew the joys of growing your own veg and were eager to try again.
So 9 years on and after lots of back breaking work we have an organic vegetable patch that feeds us for a whole year. We even allow the odd flower, as long as it protects the veg!
Here are some photos of the lovely veg and flowers we grow.
